Belmont Park kicks off meet on Friday

Friday marks the beginning of Belmont Park's spring/summer meeting,
which stretches over 56 days. Belmont will host 35 stakes worth $9.05
million, topped by the $1 million Belmont Stakes. The feature Friday
is a first-level allowance race for 3-year-olds, starring Guyana Star
Dweej.
