KEMP OUT TO MAKE GOOD ON 50/50 PREDICTION
Kemp The Dodgers, spurred by MVP candidate Matt Kemp, have been red hot, and they'll play host to the surging Nationals this weekend as they try to maintain their dominance in the NL West. The Yankees and Tigers, two of the league's most imposing offenses, will meet at Yankee Stadium this weekend. Jose Reyes made a celebrated return to Citi Field with the Miami Marlins, while Albert Pujols has started slow in his first season with the Angels. The White Sox got perfection from Philip Humber and have seen Jake Peavy post star-level numbers once again, and Texas has seized control of the AL West behind MVP-caliber play from Josh Hamilton. A hot start from Carlos Beltran has helped the Cardinals weather a cold one from Matt Holliday and an injury to Lance Berkman.
