Subject: Freight Alert: US 97 closed overnight for Satus Creek Bridge construction

LOCATION: US 97 closed milepost 44 to 47, between Goldendale and Toppenish
DETAILS:
US 97 will be closed to through traffic from Goldendale to Toppenish starting at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, through 5 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20.
The full closure of US 97 from milepost 44 to milepost 47 is required to allow trucks and cranes to set up on the highway for girder setting.
Local traffic will be able to access US 97 from Goldendale to milepost 44 and from Toppenish to milepost 47.
There is no detour through this area. Drivers should seek alternate routes on SR 14, I-82, US 12 or I-90.
