Distorted Legacy returns in Wait a While
Distorted Legacy, beaten just a length in the Breeders' Cup Filly and
Mare Turf, will launch her 2012 campaign in Sunday's $70,000 Wait a
While, the feature race on closing day of the 2011-12 Gulfstream Park
meeting. The race drew a field of 10 fillies and mares, including the
red-hot Race to Urga and Speak Easy Gal.

When Keeneland's April select 2-year-old sale takes place this Monday
in Lexington, Ky., consignors and auction officials hope it will
provide more evidence that the boutique juvenile market has emerged
from the post-2008 meltdown and is headed solidly into recovery.

Wednesday's Grade 2, $300,000 Fantasy opens Oaklawn Park's annual
Racing Festival of the South -- a series of races that will include
the $1 million Arkansas Derby on April 14. Multiple Grade 2 winner On
Fire Baby was being pointed toward the Fantasy, but is no longer in
the mix. This led to several notable entrants, including Bob
Baffert-trained Mamma Kimbo and Jemima's Pearl.
