Washington State Department of Transportation Fish and Wildlife Program staff have recently made several changes to the Biological Assessment Guidance web page at: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Environment/Biology/BA/BAguidance.htm. Changes include updating several chapters in the BA Assessment Preparation Advanced Training Manual:

Updates were also made to marine mammal and marbled murrelet disturbance thresholds, and we have added the new U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service marbled murrelet noise calculator:

WSDOT will be conducting a BA requalification course on Thursday March 15, followed by a test on March 16. The class is now closed, but we have attached a summary brochure for those that are enrolled and will be attending.
