DESCRIPTION: US 97 is closed due to a large dust storm. Southbound traffic is being diverted via SR 22 and SR 221. Northbound passenger vehicles only are being diverted via local roads. Pilot operations are being put into place for northbound semi traffic.   
LOCATION: US 97 from near milepost 56, Pumphouse Road, to milepost 60, Larue Road, South of Toppenish
START: March 11, 2012, 1:50 p.m.

OTHER: Time is reopen is unknown due the nature of the storm.
