Louisiana-based, indie-pop band Royal Teeth has been announced as the
winner of the "Your 1 Shot" contest. The band was selected from over
850 submissions to perform at "The Warner Sound Captured by Nikon,"
Nikon and Warner Music Group's residency atthe upcoming South by
Southwest® Music & Media Conference (SXSW®) in Austin, Texas. The
sextet, led by the vocal duo of Gary Larsen and Nora Patterson, were
selected by a stellar panel of music industry experts, including A&R
executives from both Atlantic Records and Warner Bros. Records, as
well as guest artists from each label's prestigious roster. In
addition to performing in front of this impressive crowd, Royal Teeth
will also receive the new Nikon 1 J1, Nikon's new portable camera with
interchangeable lenses, to help them capture their journey to Austin
and their favorite SXSW moments.
Royal Teeth will be in good company at "The Warner Sound Captured by
Nikon." Artists from Atlantic Records, Warner Bros. Records and other
WMG labels willappear live at these official SXSW showcases; all SXSW
badge-holders are welcome and a limited supply of tickets will be sold
at the door. Evening showcase headlinersinclude Santigold and Chuckie
on Tuesday, March 13 th , Gary Clark Jr.on Wednesday, March 14 th ,
