45km open for skiing & snowshoeing!
We received a dusting of snow overnight. Conditions are very good for both
classic and skate skiing. 45km of trails are open, 33km are
snowcat groomed
with trackset and skating lanes. With snow possible tonight, we
may be able
to re-open the lake for use on Saturday. 12km of gorgeous snowshoe trails and
our junior tubing hills are also open and waiting for you!
Surface today is power-tilled loose granular snow. Still up to a foot of
snow here! Our compacted base averages 6 - 12" with 10 -
12" in
our woods. Come enjoy a wonderful day in the gorgeous, easily
accessible
Southern Adirondacks!
Forecast: Today through Sunday will offer up perfect days for outdoor
activities!
It's sunny today with a high of 39. Tonight snow showers are likely with
a 1 - 3 inch accumulation possible. Saturday and Sunday will be
mostly sunny
with a high of 33 Saturday and of 54 Sunday. Temperatures are expected to
fall below freezing each night. Our forecast for Monday onward is very
pleasant as well.
We have a firm base which has been compacted time and again by our heavy
Husky snowcat, and we have a good amount of snow. This weather makes for
a fine outdoor experience! Join us for a hamburger and hot dog BBQ
