FREIGHT TRAVEL ALERT â€" I-90 SNOQUALMIE PASS CLOSED BOTH DIRECTIONS
LOCATION: I-90, both directions, eastbound at milepost 34 near North Bend and westbound at milepost 84 near Cle Elum.
DETAILS: I-90 Snoqualmie Pass is closed in both directions for avalanche control work. The pass will reopen at approximately 1 p.m., Thursday, March 15.
MORE DETAILS: Avalanche control work has been in progress since 8 a.m., Thursday, March 15. Temperatures have risen and the heavy snow fall from this morning has turned to rain as crews continue to perform avalanche control work and clear the roadway.
