Subject: Ferry Alert: Kingston Terminal- 2 Hour Wait in
Kingston--Tally System Activated

Motorists will encounter an estimated 2 hour wait at the Kingston
terminal due to heavy vehicle traffic boarding the vessel. The tally
system is in place. Tally cards are issued by WSP. Motorists bound for
the Kingston ferry will encounter vehicle traffic staged on the
shoulder of Hwy 104. This is the ferry queue. As traffic moves,
drivers will pass by the State Patrol check point and be issued a
tally card for presentation to the ticket seller upon arrival at the
dock. Tally's are proof the driver has not "cut in line". You must
have a tally card to board the vessel.

This alert was sent on 3/25/2012 at 4:35PM to subscribers of the
Edmonds / Kingston route.
