10" new snow...so far!
100 % Operation! ~ 50km open for skiing & snowshoeing!
Finn-tastic (super excellent) ski conditions!
Snow is falling with 10" so far (at 1pm). We are at 100%
operation with 50km
of trails open. Olavi and his powerful partner, our Prinoth Husky snowcat,
are in their usual fine form grooming and setting
beautiful track and
wide skate lanes on 35km of trails.
This is a perfect packing snow. Surface is powder and packed
powder. Our compacted
base averages 10 - 16" with over a foot-and-a-half of snow,
20 - 22",
in our woods.
Don't miss these amazing days to ski and snowshoe! Fresh snow
and a high of
29 degrees today, mostly cloudy with a high of 37 Friday, and
although today
is beautiful skiing, Friday will be spectacular! If you've been
waiting
for the perfect day to use that spare vacation or personal day from work,
this would be the time to do so! If you don't have any vacation
days or personal
time, ditch work anyway! It will be that good! Bring your camera
to capture
remarkable winter images and come enjoy a wonderful day in the
gorgeous, easily
accessible Southern Adirondacks!
