THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING...

.A STEADY STREAM OF PACIFIC MOISTURE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING
OCCASIONAL SNOW SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO THE
MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN COLORADO THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. SNOW WILL
INCREASE LATE TONIGHT AND BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH TUESDAY
MORNING...ESPECIALLY FOR THE PARK RANGE...ELK AND NORTHWESTERN SAN
JUAN MOUNTAINS. THIS INCLUDES THE UNCOMPAHGRE GORGE FROM OURAY TO
RED MOUNTAIN PASS.

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO BE HEAVY AND WET AND WILL CREATE SLUSHY TO
SNOWPACKED ROADS AT TIMES. TRAVELERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
HAZARDOUS WINTER CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY OVER THE MOUNTAIN
PASSES.

SNOW SHOWERS WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE FROM THE WEST TUESDAY AFTERNOON

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOW...OCCASIONALLY HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL
 OCCUR THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 12 INCHES
 EXPECTED TONIGHT AND TUESDAY...WITH STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL RANGING
 FROM 8 TO 16 INCHES. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS WILL FALL ABOVE 9000
 FEET.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH SOME GUSTS REACHING 30 MPH.

* VISIBILITY...COULD DECREASE TO LESS THAN ONE MILE AT TIMES IN
 HEAVY SNOW AND FOG...ESPECIALLY OVER MOUNTAIN PASSES.

* IMPACTS...MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RESULT IN SLUSHY
 AND SNOWPACKED ROADS. ROAD CONDITIONS MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME
 THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE
